Doubling letters when typing in Japanese

I am fairly new to Remnote so please tell me if I’m posting this in the wrong space. I am using the web version of Remnote, and whenever I type in japanese and press enter (to confirm the word I am using, since Japanese words can change form), it doubles the word. Any fixes?
