- Is there a way to “collapse” the back of the card? Right now, my workaround is just to make it a multi-select and collapse the rem. But it would be nice if I could just hide the back of a one-line, basic card.

No to both, unfortunately. I assume you want 1 to clear up some screen real estate, but in case you wanted it for testing yourself, there is Active Recall CSS (might have to peruse the topic a bit).
