Rem reference without modifying the original rem

Hello,

I wonder if there is a way to embed a copy of a rem, and being able to modifying it without modyfing the original rem while having the number of occurences in the original rem (as for the classic rem reference, the small icon at the top right that indicates how many rems are referencing the original one)

Sadly not, if you have aliases, you can turn the reference into a pin and copy-paste its contents with ctrl+a.

Convert reference to plain text

At the moment there is no way to convert a referenced block of text to plain text in order to work on it without affecting the original except for right clicking the reference, clicking open rem in other pane as document and copypasting from there. Hopefully, it’s easy enough to add a shortcut to do the above steps automatically to the menu.
