RemNote 1.8 Bugs thread

Hi all,

I really love the new features in RemNote v1.8. However, I am suffering from critical bugs in v1.8. It is nearly impossible to write down something in RemNote v1.8. There is the list of bugs I found. Hope these bugs are fixed as soon as possible.

  1. Sync has not been finished even after many hours.
  2. Document list is not loaded in left sidebar.
  3. Cannot identify selected lines in Dark mode because of similar color.
  4. Undo history is lost when feed to the next line.
  5. After pasting the line which is starting from the math equation, the equation in pasted line is broken.
  6. Due to the sync problem, the content of some notes was randomly lost.

Also disabling descendant cards doesn’t work for me anymore

This upgrade broke the app for many users.

This workaround may help you at least with some of the issues you reported: Blank screen since 1.8 update - #21 by piotrj

Another problem i just discovered when I was doing my reviews on new.remnote.com: some of my document are corrupted and the indents are out of place, creating new flashcards where there aren’t supposed to be (for example a negative indent which somehow shows up as an empty flashcard, and descriptors on the wrong indent level that have to be adjusted)
