Add a toggle to always show content of references

When I place a reference from one document into another it only shows the text before the “::” as linked reference. Is there a way to show the whole thing be default, and if not, can the feature please be added?

I want to be able to organize my knowledge by citation/document and section/line within the citation, and then reference the cited statement to any other document for organizing and synthesizing. This works fine with normal lines of text, but not with rems/flashcards.

Also: be aware that I’m a pro subscriber and know how to use the alias feature, I just want a simple way to drag and drop a complete flashcard reference into a new document that displays the entire card, not just the front.

Not by default, but you can right click on the reference and click “show content”.

I’ll edit the title of your topic to a more accurate one.

Wow. I feel silly not noticing that feature . Thank you very much @UMNiK for the help. That should be fast enough for my current workflow. A direct command hotkey would be nice, but isn’t a requirement to enjoy RemNote. Also, thank you for the timely response. You made my first experience with the RemNote community a positive one.
