Attempting to make a personal medical knowledge wiki

Hi all, I’ve been playing around with Remnote for the past month or so. As a medical resident physician, I read textbooks and articles about many diseases. My ideal workflow would be to have a folder Rem for a book chapter, and then have a document Rem under this for a certain disease process that can be referenced if I mention this disease process in a different article. However, when I tag the document Rem also as a reference, then the reference page only contains links to other references but does not contain content itself. To mitigate this, I’ve started to add information under a linked reference, and link that as a portal into my book chapter. Is there a better workflow for this? Any help is greatly appreciated!

If the workflow is better to add information separately into a linked reference and then add a portal into my book chapter document, then is there any point in tagging the disease as a document?

I can outline my views, but since I am not a medical student and the information you give in the post is not enough for me to fully understand your workflow, I can only outline them.I would like to talk about two parts, the first is the way I take notes, and the second is my advice on “adding link information”.

First, the first part.My documents are divided into two kinds: a table of contents of a book and a concept.Take something you’ve learned for example.What is the catalog?Chapter 1, Section 1…As an index, link to the knowledge points mentioned in the book, which is what you call the disease.The disease links to another document.Notice, instead of making a document directly under the directory, you make a link.Because this disease can be in any book, and the more books you read, the more you know about this disease.If you document a disease directly in the catalog, where will you make notes when you see the disease in another book?Back to the original book?Books are just vehicles.
