I thought I remember seeing there’s a way for remnote on a mac to take an audio file and turn it into a text file. Is there no way on windows and Android? Maybe a feature request?
Thanks!

There is certainly no such functionality inside remnote, but there is an integration with airr, which is an iOs app that transcribes snippets of podcasts. Check this video out for setup.
That’s it, at least I know I’m not going crazy…yet!
Do you mean a speech-to-text feature? RemNote doesn’t have something like this yet. But you can do this using Google’s text to speech on Google docs and Android. And then paste it into RemNote. You’re probably confusing something else with RemNote.
For audio to text I use Otter for this with many of my tools.
Hey @Spondon! Hah, that’s always a possibility! I swear there was something with airplay and Mac’s. I’ve played with Googles text to speech and it’s great but for podcasts etc it’s just way too much work.
Nice, I’ll check it out, thank you!
