This topic was in discussion, yet I can’t find it anywhere.
The mobile apps - iOS, ipadOS, android phones and tablets - need to have a lock button as they had before the 1.8 updates and the merge of the web with the apps.
Using remnote on a phone / tablet (for me personally) is mainly used for reviewing notes and reading, not for editing nor adding new rems.
The small / mobile form factor (no keyboard, touchscreen) can cause serious accidental editing, and the lock button is meant to block these accidents.
