So this issue has been brought about on 9 June already, being immediately closed with a reference to the bug reporting system.

When can we expect a solution for this? At least for me, this bug (no differences between default an SM2 algorithms) makes flashcards in RemNote basically useless, and thus RemNote basically useless.

Please report any bugs using the “Report Bugs” button accessible from the ? button in the lower right of the app. Multiple reports about the same bug from the same user are not required - if a follow-up is required, it’s easier to track down a single report. The next update, 1.8., is scheduled to release in the coming weeks.
