Replace the link with
windows https://download.remnote.io/RemNote+Setup+1.4.0-beta.exe
mac https://download.remnote.io/RemNote-1.4.2-beta.dmg
linux https://download.remnote.io/RemNote-1.4.0-beta.AppImage
After installing in Windows from the links indicated by @Nqe, the system wrongly recognizes that there is a supposedly newer version (3.1.15) and when closing the app, it is automatically “upgraded” (actually, downgraded).

When I failed to download, I thought the download path was wiered, so I changed it, and it worked. I don’t know why they hide the real download path. The problem you mentioned also happened to my Mac, just overwrite and install it again.
