Sometimes the text is bold for reasons (I don’t know exactly how it happens) and the only way to fix it is to delete it and paste it plain again.
Do /remove concept descriptor

This is the intended behavior because you can create concepts without creating a card. This gives you powerful search functionalities like [[ linking a concept with different formatting from the rest of your content. To remove the bold style you can simply do /removeconcept.

The shortcode command to remove both concepts and descriptors is /blank (though typing out the “remove etc.” will also work by searching for the command’s label). The most likely culprits for unexpected concepts is that indenting a descriptor under any rem makes it a concept or this setting:
