I used to be able to use ## to insert a template, but now I don’t see any of my templates listed at all.

Are you not able to find the rem that you wish to tag, while using the ## search?
Kindly make sure you have the “Only search Cnocepts” option turned off in the settings :
It could be that the rem you are looking for might be a descriptor and hence might not have showed up in the search.
