Cannot put decimal numbers as answers

Attempting to write a decimal number after → turns it into a number list. How do I stop this?

As a workaround you could use latex to write a decimal number

A second workaround would be to place it in quotes.

(1) Type two backticks (``) using the keyboard (quote is now open) (2) type your decimal number then (3) type another two backticks (quote now closed)
