When I’m in a typing flow, it’s really hard to notice the card type, which is situated very below. So I suggest why not place the icon before a rem, or between the concept/descriptor and the content. If the icon seems too discordant with the rem, could be redesigned as two dots, hollow or solid, something like that.
so that it will be much clearer, which I believe will greatly improve my efficiency in deciding card types.

The only thing from your list not included right now is showing the practice direction while editing the rem.

I dont think its useful to have an icon for the concept/discriptor bc we can see that by the capital letter thing, but the icon for the card diretion might be super helpful.

I guess it’s personal preference if you like colorful icons or keep it plain Therefore the theme can be imported partially.
