Everytime I paste some text copied from any book it paste as separate rems with empty block in between each lines
Isn’t there any option to “keep source formatting”?
RemNote usually keeps formatting for me, in the sense of keeping bold, italics, links etc.
Regarding how paragraphs are separated, sometimes I do get the empty Rems as you described.
I often manage to avoid that using CTRL+SHIFT+V instead (but then I lose actual formatting). Not sure if it’s reliable either.
It depends on where we copy from, I just tried from copying same text from drawboard pdf reader it pasted in the same paragraph not even in separate blocks … problem arose from foxit reader …
Yeah, and when it comes to PDF there’s also the matter of how it was created… (some have fixed line breaks, for example, which is annoying)
If you have a word document, try converting it to markdown using an online tool then import it directly into remnote
