Creating cards with three colons

If I type in three colons at the end of a line to create a multi-line card, it will look like this. I will have to manually delete the extra three colons, and I believe this can be considered a bug.
If I delete the extra colons manually, though, the Rem Type status turns unset.

2 am now, yet I lie awake; I cannot describe with words how important this is to me. The world in my eyes in tears would start to shine in beauty if this bug could be fixed.

Thank you, I just submitted an issue on GitHub.
Really want it to be fixed. Would drink a full cup of oil for that.
