Is this changed in an update? Every tutorial uses Ctrl + o to open search box but I have my Chrome Downloads folder opening everytime.
Yes, they changed. Try Ctrl + P. You can turn the legacy shortcuts (like Ctrl + O) back on or even change the shortcut keys in the settings now.
