Desktop app (OSX): window size defaults to full screen on start-up

After launching the desktop app on Mac OSX, the application window always resized to fit the whole screen and has to be manually resized.

This is something I have always been annoyed by since the desktop app is around. I prefer my apps to take up only a fraction of the screen to be able to see other things (e.g. browser windows) in parallel. It is not a huge issue, but at least on my part it is a bad user experience and I hope to see it fixed.

It’d be nice if the Windows app could follow Windows norms by remembering its last settings and coming up that way. As is, it comes up maximized, and unmaximizing it reduces it to a small window in the middle of the screen that I then need to expand to the desired size and location by dragging the corners, then dragging the window. I want to be able to see behind it to grab a data source and paste something into a specific RemNote document, but on any given screen that might be a different size, so the current defaults aren’t really that useful.
