Editing mutlipe lines/rems at once

Hello,
Is there a way to edit multiple rems by selecting/highlighting them, then formating them all at once? It is a hassle editing them one at a time. Such as changing them all at once to being forward rems or headlining them together? Currently, once I have multiple rems selected/highlighted, the moment I click to edit as usual it deselects my selection.

Step 1: Select all the rems you want to edit format
Step 2: Ctrl + / for Open Ominibar

Step 3: Search a Command

Keyboard shortcuts for specific commands also work, e.g. ctrl+shift+b to toggle backwards practice in bulk.
