Efficient way to add plain text after an inline code snippet

image

I’m not seeing a way to efficiently “step out” of an inline code snippet once I enter it. Putting this into the context of the example above: after I’ve typed pgid and then want to add “here’s some more plain text”, the only way I’ve found to do this is to, one way or another, move the cursor off of that rem and then back on to it. Once i do this, the cursor will sit outside of the snippet and I can append some normal text to the rem that follows the snippet.

Does anyone know of a better way? If not, maybe this is a small bug / feature request. It’s not the end of the world but it does slow down the workflow a bit.
