It is a very useful function if you use RemNote to learn foreign languages (or something in a foreign language), since you don’t always find the pronunciation of whole sentences.
I’d like to have a text to speech feature similar to quizlet, where you can hear the spelling of words like in a different language. Here’s what I found about the text to speech feature on quizlet api - Text to speech on Quizlet.com - Stack Overflow I don’t know if these are free or not, so maybe this could be a useful premium feature or so
I really expect this option. Do the developers plan to implement it in the near future?
Hi everyone!
I have a Mac Book so this might not help everyone. But you can try using the online version of RemNote through Safari or Chrome rather than the app. Then highlight what you want read with the cursor, go up to edit within your web browser, and click speech. I’m so excited to find that I can do text-to-speech this way. Honestly, with ADHD, I might not use RemNote for academic work if it couldn’t read it aloud to me. Good luck!
The TTS option is very necessary for full-fledged work with Remote. This option has been implemented in Anki for a long time.

I am looking forward to the new version of Remote with TTS support in the cards.
Here is a litte workaround!
When using https://dictionary.reverso.net to translate, you can extract the audio link and put it to RemNote by following a couple small steps.
-
On Reverso, right click inspect element, go on network and next click media.
-
After translating the word you want, click on it and press speak.
-
It will show the audio, and you must copy it with right click like in the image.
-
Use the audio feature to insert it!
I saw it on this video: https://youtu.be/p92BTa5Q6pc?t=1119!
