this is a super basic question…
I cannot seem to search my database for plain text. It seems to find references fine, but not plain text. Is there something I am doing wrong?

Depends which search you’re having trouble with. If it’s the global ctrl+p or [[ ones, submit a bug using the “Report Bugs” button accessible from the ? button in the lower right of the app. The local ctrl+f or ctrl+shift+f are limited to the document.
