Flashcard study and editing from a new user. New function requests

Hi

First time user here trying this app out for medical school, just getting used to it. I have used Anki for a while, and I am missing a lot of its functionality, especially when using the flashcards.

Is there a way of doing a custom study session using multiple tags like in Anki? At the moment, all I can review is ‘everything’ or one topic at a time. I can see this getting away from me once I have a few thousand cards. It would be nice if when you are in flashcards and click the down arrow, it could bring up all your tags in a drop-down menu and be able to select a dozen of them or so to study.

The second issue I am having is when I am editing a flashcard sometimes, I might press something accidentally, and it will take me to another page, and then I can’t get back to the editing screen. Is there a 'back button" like there is in Anki?

Also, don’t get me wrong, I love dogs, but can we add a few cats in there as well?

Do this, except search for multiple tags using AND in the visual editor.

You troubles are perfectly understandable, this process is not as easy it can be. What you are doing is filtering, while what you need to do is run a search query. Create a new rem anywhere (I’ll be using a rem called “The Great Unsorted” that I use as my inbox/default location), let’s call it “Parent”, then create and indent a new empty rem under that one, then type in /search and press enter. This is what you should have so far. [image] Now click on “Visual Editor”, choose “Any Connection…

Use the document preview via p to edit, it will give you a popup you can close more easily.
