Set color to flashcards?

Is there a way I can set color to my flashcards which I find difficult? So that I can focus on them after

Like in Anki where you can set a colored flags to your flashcards

Sure, just use the native highlights and then filter for the colour, e.g. “Red”.

Oh yes I know this but does RemNote have an automatically generated folder/ deck wherein you can view all your compiled red highlighted cards in one place?

Like in Anki that you just clicked the “Red Flagged” deck

Sure, create a new rem, insert a search query, open the visual editor, navigate to the Highlight powerup, which will have a Color slot and individual rem with backlinks for each colour, select the color you want and “any connection” as the filter, then practice all cards in the rem from the top right three dot menu.

So sorry, I’m a bit lost. Is this it? But whenever I try to go to go to Red then add the filter, no rem shows up :frowning: And am I doing the Filter part right? Thank you for your time!

You troubles are perfectly understandable, this process is not as easy it can be. What you are doing is filtering, while what you need to do is run a search query.

Create a new rem anywhere (I’ll be using a rem called “The Great Unsorted” that I use as my inbox/default location), let’s call it “Parent”, then create and indent a new empty rem under that one, then type in /search and press enter. This is what you should have so far.

Now click on “Visual Editor”, choose “Any Connection To” from the left dropdown, activate the right textbox and navigate to Highlight-Color-Purple (or any other color, obviously). Here are the results, note the found flashcard I made for test purposes.

Now zoom into Parent (click its bullet), then open the upper right three dot menu and press Practice Rem - Practice with spaced repetition.

And there we go, the found flashcard is being practised.
