Heading and Highlight Shortcuts Don't Work for Me

I must be doing something wrong. All of the Heading and Highlight keyboard shortcuts don’t work for me. The other shortcuts to do work. Any ideas?

Does anything happen when you use the shortcuts? Which browser do you use? Does it work with other browsers?

Shortcuts are a difficult topic, because different languages, browsers, operating systems, etc. use different shortcuts and claim shortcuts for themselves. Thus it’s impossible to assign shortcuts which are universally useful.
And because RemNote uses many shortcuts, it’s often necessary to assign some individual shortcuts for yourself. The highlight shortcuts even have changed a few months ago, to offer better compatibility (as far as I know).

You can change the shortcuts in the shortcut panel.
CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + H to open the panel.
Then click on the cog on top right and click on the keybard icons to assign a new shortcut.

Thanks so much Eric. I use Chrome and Mozilla. Those shortcuts don’t work on any of them. But…you solved my problem. I set the custom keyboard shortcuts and it works great. Much obliged my friend.

I found the Shortcuts broke sometime in the last week or so - specifically the highlight shortcuts which involve the Command key on Macs. Also effects the use of Command+ Arrow keys to move to the beginning/end of the line (which is pretty annoying to be honest as this is such a deeply ingrained habit on MacOS)

I filed an issue - hopefully it will be fixed soon.
