Hi there. This sounds like a bug of some sort to me. You can submit a bug report on the official Github issue tracker.
Meanwhile, the only way to reactivate these cards is manually – by zooming into the rems one after the other and then toggling them on/off from the Cards icon in the bottom toolbar (left-most).
