How to create a date without creating a doc in the daily documents

Hi,

How can I create a rem with date but not creating a doc in daily documents?
When I hit !!, it will allow me to add a date, but it will also create a doc in the daily documents with the title same as date, could I avoid the creating doc part?

You can’t. In RemNote there are no “red links” (references whose target is not created yet).

You might be able to just type the date text and check if it is recognized in the unlinked references portal stub.
