How to paste a URL as plain text?

When I try to paste a URL within a code block, it automatically gets rendered as URL, the same way as in normal rems. Within code blocks, this behavior is not what I would expect. See the example in the screenshot.

(you may not see it exactly in the screenshot but the second rem is a code block)

Is there some configuration that could help achieve what I want?

I think it’s worth reporting as a bug using the “Report Bugs” button accessible from the ? button in the lower right of the app.
