How to remove content type set designation?

Is there a way to remove rem’s content type designation as set? Look at the example below. I have rem that has n number of subrems in it’s set, and one rem that is not part of a set. After I remove all rems that were part of a set, I can’t get rid of message “Add child to this set card”.

Go to the parent and change it to plain. Type in / and search “plain”. Or go to the parent and click on the third icon in the tool bar at the bottom (card content) and change it to plain.
→ The “Add child to this set card” message will disappear.
