Instant Search - Something changed?

Hi,

I have been away from Remnote for a little while, and now something seems to have changed with the instant search.

I used to do this to find content that I had already written;

Type the words:

Highlight the words to open the instant search box:

And I’m sure I used to click one of the search results to insert that into the current document, for example the second result:

But now, nothing at all happens when I click on an instant search result.
I click and click and click, but nothing happens.

Am I doing something wrong?

No, clicking the search result also does nothing for me. Possibly the functionality was changed or it is bugged (report bug from the lower right question mark button to be sure).

Thanks for your reply.

I sent a bug report using the question mark button, I screen recorded it.

Someone at Remnote emailed me back and said that this is a known issue and they are looking at it.

I had had a few months between finishing studying for one exam and starting studying for the next one and hadn’t used Remnote in the meantime. I started to think that maybe it was me who had maybe imagined what I used to do with the instant search :slight_smile:

I’m having the same issue. I’m glad they didn’t removed it it’s just a bug

Yes Md7,

I agree. I hope this can be fixed - it was a very useful feature.

It isn’t fixed yet.

There is no purpose for an instant search if you can’t do anything with it.
