Is there a script or plugin to remove empty rem from the middle of a document?

You could simply press backspace if it was it in the middle But this snippets will remove space in the top & bottom of the page

Is it ok to remove all empty rem? Or why would you preserve empty rem at the start/end of a document?

I would like to remove all the empty rem. Sometimes when I copy text from someplace and paste it into Remnote, some paragraph-ends get turned into 2 carriage returns in Remnote, so every other Rem is empty. I also would like to get rid of the opening empties and ending empties.

Thanks – I guess I want them really gone, so in export there aren’t extra lines.

How do you export your file? on which format?

hi Hp_96 – Any format, I suppose. Markdown, or text.

I also see them in Remnote, making documents bigger (taller) than needed.

hmm but all my text formatting is gone when I try to export. I usually format it with css. I think, it would be great if they introduce pdf or .docx as export.
