The ability to merge a JSON export upon import to a knowledge base will increase the control we have over our data.
The current import imports all Rem, even if the Rem already exist in the knowledge base. This is a necessary ability. However, for the occasions when you want to “update” a knowledge base with scheduling history or additionally created Rems from using a different knowledge base, the ability to specify a merge is necessary.
There is no ability to merge yet, meaning the imports are useful only for backing up a cleaned database or opening a new one entirely.
