Make keyboard shorcuts for more card options and Make slash commands and tags effective on multiple rem without editing the rem text

Slash commands without typing on rem

It would be VERY useful if slash commands work when you select many rem, and then want to add a tag/power up, change card type, and everything you can do with keyboard shortcuts, but with a slash command.
Technically, making the slash commands effective even if you aren’t editing any text, but have selected a rem. This is especially useful for making changes in batch/bulk, when you don’t know the keyboard shortcuts.
for example, if I wanted to make multiple slots at once, but not descriptors, I would

  1. Go to a rem and type \slot to see what the keyboard shortcut is
  2. Keep the shortcut in short term memory
  3. Remove the \slot
  4. Select all the rem desired
  5. Hit the keyboard shortcut

With this feature, this would become VERY easy.

  1. Select all the rem desired
  2. Type \slot and press Enter

Keyboard shortcuts for more card options

From the post merged below:

Keyboard shortcuts for changing bullet types please!

I’m not sure if there’s already a way to do this, but a shortcut to turn an existing list into a rem would massively speed things up for me

e.g. something that would replace this…

would like this feature too!! It’s very convenient

Well you can do this:
How to make multiline in bulk copy

  1. Select the children of the multiline rem, (what you’re calling the existing list).
  2. Select the bullet type and change it to multi-line card item.

But indeed. There should be keyboard shortcuts for all of the things that are possible in the menu below, because slash commands don’t work in bulk.

Thank you that’s already terrifically useful! I didn’t realise that was an option

Awesome thanks! For your specific example with slots does Control-Alt-S work at all?

Ctrl+Alt+S does work, and also for many rem at once.
You can’t unmake a slot though. You have to change the card type from the menu below.
P.S. I don’t remember the shortcut for this, and so getting the slash commands for this is going to be very good!

Totally agreed with wanting the slash menu on multiple Rem - it’s on our power-features roadmap.
