When a single phrase of a single Rem has more than 1 cloze, in the “front side” of the card it is easy to see what is to be recalled (the brackets and dots). But sometimes it is difficult to see the answer in the “back side” of the card, as there is no difference in formatting between the cloze actually recalled in that card and the other clozes of the sentences.
