Hi Martin, Maybe I was a bit hasty Some things seem to have resolved themselves overnight. I’m going to keep soldiering on.

Where do you expect the breadcrumbs to appear?
Breadcrumbs are now appearing on schedule!

Were you assuming that the Daily Document would appear automatically? We’re going to look at some UI changes to make it easier to access daily documents soon.
I read that in the documentation somewhere. A new daily document would be generated when you opened the app. The only way I have found to generate a new daily document is ALT-K. I have no problem with that, except that it doesn’t match what I thought was the documentation. Also, it took me a while to find the keyboard shortcut.

What happens when you type “1.” at the beginning of a bullet point?
This was in the message box to report an issue. I don’t. know I didn’t try that. Normally, I hit the icon and then start typing lines, which get numbered automatically. In this case only the first one was numbered, and then subsequent lines were unnumbered, and if I tried to number them they started with 1 again.

What happens when you click this “Keyboard Shortcuts” button? A panel in the right should open.
Nothing at all happened. Today it seems to be working.

Where did you get this bottom guide screenshot from? It seems very out of date. What beginners guide are you using?
7.Sorry I’m afraid I don’t know. I do a lot of searching, and I tried looking through my browser history but. I can’t identify it.*
Here are some un-asked for comments and recommendations. please feel free to ignore!

One definition of a camel is a horse designed by committee. In trying to be all things to all people, RemNote looks a lot more like a camel than a horse to me, at the moment. My unasked-for advice here is not to release a feature as soon as it’s developed (outside beta users), but have a fixed development release cycle say two or three months, and only release the features which are solid and solidly documented. You might find it worthwhile to hire a professional scrum master.

I spent several hours struggling with the program. The documentation is not much help. It’s very fragmented, oriented towards explaining each feature (34 videos, really?) and apparently, a lot of what is out there, is out of date.

I think what you need is a handful of end-to-end videos covering the most common use-case scenarios, for example: correlating information for a research project using the slip box; developing flashcards for studying; managing a to-do list; and maintaining a daily journal.

Putting your documentation on YouTube is not a good idea. You have very little control over it. YouTube is great for promotional videos, but for documentation, you’re better off using a platform like Vimeo where you have complete control and can update videos without worrying about the links getting out of date.
