Since the latest update, I get the notification ‘pdf highlighting is a pro feature’. I thought that no features would be removed from the free version of remnote? Or am I mistaken?

Yes, but PDF is a Pro feature. You only had is as a trial.
You’re right to be confused. They don’t communicate this very clearly.
For example, the PDF section here should have a clear indicator that it is a “Pro” feature.
