Hi,
I must say that I much prefer the look of portals now than before. Having said that, I would love to have the possibility to decide the look of portals in the settings ( for instance choosing a background color ) or borders…
As it is now , I think it does not stand out enough from the rest of the contents in the page ( whereas it was too much before the release of the 1.4 version )
Any plans to implement that feature?

I agree with you. I am OK using portals in the new interface, but for a new user, this is too lightweight… I fear newcomers might really get confuse.
I’ll personally jump on CSS customs when some compatible for 1.4 are emerging
