Straightforward. Many of us are Firefox users. Want to be able to have to the convenience of the remote clipper while using a browser that supports an open web.

need remnote web clipper for firefox.
After I tried remnote web clipper with browser Edge, now I think this tool is not very useful for me.
universal-web-clipper may be helps you. It clips content from a web, just like Evernote clipper. And a markdown file could be generated.
Firefox is my default browser - so much faster that Chrome. Would love to see the Clipper addon made available for Firefox
