I don’t know if this has been done elsewhere already or if there is a consensus already and I just wanted to try out Discourse’s Polls :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

By what name do you identify the most as a RemNote Community Member? Choose one or a few of the names. The (s) could be a plural form. Note: Some of the names are unsuitable to name a community member, but the community as a whole. None of the suggestions are mine, kudos to: Karthikk, Mr. Sandman, kluts, Anthony, 88DM88 and others I probably missed for their discussion on Discord.

A nickname for all of us RemNote users would be great! I agree with @Karthikk Vijay - we definitely want to stick with “friendly and nourishing” over something that inspires culty thinking, though. Maybe we could set up an informal poll to see what resonates with people, after there’s some more brainstorming? :slight_smile:

  • I heard that “RemNation” appeared on RemNotes twitter though I can’t find the tweet.

When you adopt some rems of others, you do a remake.

If there were a workshop will it be called ceREMony?

I would like to be a little more radical, and suggest changing the name of the app, since it still does not have many users. Does not it happen to all the search engines understand “Remote” instead of “Remnote”? I think something with the keyword neuron sounds great and is very descriptive. How about “neuronote”? I love it haha

It used to happen very often that google autocorrected to remote, but I really like the name RemNote so I don’t want it to change, personally

Yes @88DM88, Remnote doesn’t disgust to me, but I’m thinking in practicality. Also, NeuroNote sounds GREAT haha.
On the other hand, I do not think it is good to change names to simple things to the competition. I’d trade Queue for Flashcards and Rems for Bullets. Those names only make our visibility in search engines worse, and they make the learning curve worse, too.
