RemNote not displaying in window

Since the most recent update, I’m unable to see any content in RemNote in MacOS 12.4. When I open the app it’s just all white with no text or anything at all. (See attached image.) I am trying to use a database that is local on my laptop.

It’s possible, even likely, that this has to do with security settings on my computer (set by my employer) but wanted to see if anyone has any ideas to help diagnose as the IT team is understandably unfamiliar with RemNote. The app worked just fine until the most recent update last week.
