After November update the RemNote seems to have got slow. Now it is taking time in loading the document and some times when a shortcut key is used, eg. to expand all child nodes in the document it takes time (2-3 seconds)… And even when I navigate from another reference to the main document the loading time of document is around 3-5 seconds… It’s annoying… Anybody else facing the same issue or its with mine system…
For me it happens when I recursively expand (Ctrl + Shift + down arrow) a rem which has so many nested hierarchies (specifically document type rems) under it. In that case, it took few seconds to expand everything. I usually don’t have to expand this way, but I did it for some specific reasons (which I don’t remember now). Usually I just expand rems at a Document level. One observation is that, since Remnote remembers the state of hierarchy (whether it is expanded or not), if I just keep this upper level hierarchy expanded, it slows down when navigating anywhere within that hierarchy. So I just collapsed it back and things were back to normal.
Hmmm will keep the rems in collapsed form n will see whether this will improve the speed or not… Anyways thnx for response
