Strange RemNote Typing Behavior

Hi everyone!

I’m currently having some strange/erratic behavior when typing my study documents. It happens intermittently, so it’s not a specific behavior after I do something.

It just happens as I’m typing any document, the page seems to blink like it’s refreshing and the cursor jumps left/back a random amount of characters. As I keep typing the cursor changes position and my words endup in another place.

Please see below gif I made of the behavior.

I saw this behavior in Chrome, RemNote Chrome’s App, Brave Browser, Safari and Firefox. I cannot seem to figure what is the problem.

I hope this can be traced and maybe fixed as this is very annoying as I type really long documents and this happens a lot.

I’m using a Macbook Pro with MacOS version 10.15.7.

This kind of thing was happening to me too. I thought it was just my computer. It might help to submit this kind of bug from this link. I have similar experiences and it’s hard to pinpoint when and why it happens. But I can certainly say, that it’s worse when I type Vietnamese, or when I have a grammar correction Add-On activated. When I write English without any spellchecking addon, usually I don’t have any problems with typing in RemNote.

Yeah, it’s very hard to pinpoint.

I’m typing in English with only the browser normal grammar correction and sometimes it appears to be more frequent although I didn’t change anything regarding what I’m doing.

At first I thought it was my keyboard (wireless keyboard) then I switched to wired mode on the keyboard, same behavior. So I switched to the notebook keyboard and finally tested with other programs.

Other programs and even the current textbox I’m typing in the forum gives me the normal behavior.
