There is an inconsistency in the implementation of the Labs feature Tags Collection. With the Tags Collection feature turned on, using Tag with Parent (Ctrl + Alt + X) creates a tag using the parent rem without applying the Tag power-up to the parent rem. Whereas, tagging a rem with it’s parent rem using Insert Tag (##) creates the tag and applies the Tag power-up to the parent rem.
