The reset cards function doesn't work for me

Hi, it seems like the reset button isn’t working. It seems like the bigger the document, the less the reset button works.

I follow the simple instructions of typing /reset then selecting to reset all descendent cards. When I do this, the cards don’t actually reset. Is there a solution to this?
