Top Level Rem Tag

Right now when we make a reference on the fly with [[ it is tagged as a stub by default. This also includes top level rems

It would be nice if when we make a top level rem instead of being tagged as a stub it would be tagged as top level rem. Would love a toggle feature in settings so could have option for current setting or proposed setting

Very much needed, hoping this comment will bump this topic higher up in list!

My use case:
I’ve moved a couple of rems so that they have no parents (“top-level”) because they were quite deeply nested (so a lot of breadcrumbs) + they were not just related to one topic but also related to several other topics. Now, although there are portals to these top-level rems within my topic-wise documents, when I suspend the cards of one of these documents, any rems in portals – whether they have a parent outside of the document or are top-level – do not get suspended. I would have to individually suspend them.

So a simple fix would be having a tag (perhaps a power-up rem, such as #Top Level) applied to all top-level rems automatically. Then, we could find all such rems in the respective search portal, and I could just select all the portal results and apply the tag #Suspend Cards.
