It has been a couple of days but I have seen your solution to my problem.
I have a question for you. You asked me to rebind a key in a place called keyboard shortcut. Is the keyboard shortcuts located in the settings? Or is the keyboard shortcuts a paid feature? I ask because in settings there is an option to modify shortcuts but only for paying customers.
I intend to get a membership today, but I want to test out your solution before I pull the trigger and get a membership, with that being said would I be able to do your solution to my problem with the free account or do I need a paid account in order to rebind the key in the keyboard shortcuts?

Yes, the keyboard rebinding is a paid feature. I suggest you use a trial (possibly creating a burner account) to test this out, though I’ve just done it myself by rebinding it to 0, and pressing / did absolutely nothing in queue (0 did bring up the metadata).
