Updating date doesn't seem to work

This is on the Mac software, Version 1.3.15.

Steps to reproduce

1. Add a date with the !! function, e.g., “Remember to do this by | August 20, 2021”
2. Click on the date, which brings up the date picker.
3. Click on a different date in the date picker, e.g., Aug 27
4. Date picker disappears, but date is not updated.
