View Rems without all the purple highlights from flashcards?

Hey there! Noob here, in need of some direction about disappearing visible formatting for flashcards.

Another way of saying this: I want to be able to view my notes without seeing the formatting that denotes that a card has been turned into a flashcard. Is that even possible?

ie-- I don’t want to see this:

Any pointers?

Hello @ServingDOrealness.

Welcome.

I understand you want to view your images in the outliner without the image occlusion boxes. To answer your question, this is not possible at the moment.

Your options, as I see them:

  • Invent a reason to like them (e.g., “they help me keep track of my image occlusion flashcards” or, "the blue boxes let me feel studious over my study material)
  • Follow this workaround: duplicate the image as a sibling, then “/ hide” the original (i.e. occluded) image
  • File a feature request here

For the feature request, I’d suggest describing the problem as above, noting anything you currently do to work around it, and then suggesting how you’d like RemNote to fix it.

Also, the ‘?’ menu at the bottom right, after clicking ‘Help & Tutorials’, has a ‘Tutorials’ section under ‘Getting Started’. That is where I first started learning RemNote many months ago, although I still frequently feel noobish myself. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Awesome. Thank you so much! All of this is very helpful and gives me a sense of where the app is at overall. :+1:
