What is Alpha plugin?

Hi everyone, Recent update has given the new feature of the alpha plugin. Can anyone breifly tells what is it mean? and how can we import our new plugin from git hub. I also encountering my other plugins are not working properly which are I inputed before the 1.8 version, especially Youtube plugin. Also, why remnote has removed the plugin url page? if it is still there, please guide me to navigate the page.

Older plugins may need to be updated, while the newer plugin structure is currently in alpha. I’m afraid you’ll just have to wait if you aren’t an extension developer yourself.
