Hi friends,
What is the likelyhood that for any catastrophic reasons all our rems disappear?
I am so worry to loose all my work that I sometimes export all my rem to save them just in case but is it even possible ? Should I really bother doing regular backups?

If you are using a local Knowledge Base and backup manually, 0%. For synced databases, non-zero, but there are daily automatic backups (could be Pro-only), and the support team should be able to help you restore any losses.
Mh I was not aware of the two different kind of database.
Dayli backup is indeed a Pro feature I just verified.
